Trauma Center Trauma Sensitive Yoga
(TCTSY)
TCTSY is the first yoga-based, empirically validated clinical intervention for complex trauma or chronic, treatment-resistant post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).
What to expect from a TCTSY session with Anna?
A chair or mat-based movement practice that includes different kinds of stretches and body shapes.
Each stretch/body shape is optional and can be modified in any way to support your experience.
You are always welcome to stop of modify the practice at any time, for any reason.
There are NO PHYSICAL ASSISTS.
Sessions can be scheduled for 30, 45 or 60 minute sessions but can always be concluded earlier if a shorter practice is preferred on any given day.
You can practice yoga with your shoes on or off and are welcome to wear whatever clothing you feel comfortable in.
While most of my current TCTSY Sessions are held virtually using a HIPAA compliant platform, please let me know if you are located in the North Shore area of Massachusetts and prefer in-person sessions, as I may be able to rent a studio if one is available.
